The Open Academy of Caring Economics is a project initiated by the Foundation of the Economy of Care, which was launched in 2007 in the Netherlands under its original Dutch name ‘Stichting voor de Zorgeconomie’.

The Open Academy of Caring Economics is not a traditional institutional academy. It is an open network academy, which gives worldwide access to everyone interested in Caring Economics. It is open to all who wish to participate in creating new human-centred sustainable perspectives.
